KJT - The Athlete
Classed as Britain’s best multi-eventer, KJT is known for her excellence both on the track and in the field. No stranger to success, KJT is a three-time Olympian, two-time Commonwealth Champion, World Champion, World Indoor Champion, and two-time European Indoor Champion to cement her position as one of the world’s greatest ever and most loved all-round athletes.
KJT’s rapid ascent to global stardom really kickstarted in 2012. On her Olympic debut at just 19 years old, KJT produced a breath-taking performance in front of an electric crowd at the London 2012 to finish in 15th place. This was on the back of KJT winning the gold medal at the World Junior Championships in Barcelona earlier that year to really springboard her as the future star of athletics.
Having grown up in Liverpool, at 23 years old, KJT made the bold decision to leave her roots and move to France in pursuit of sporting success. A decision vindicated as she has gone on to win multiple World, European and Commonwealth medals, including setting British Records in the Heptathlon and Pentathlon as well as a World Record in the Heptathlon High Jump.
Now back on UK soil and based in Loughborough under the experienced eye of coach Aston Moore, KJT spends most of her free time with her family, her dogs (Bronx and Chorizo) and fulfilling her roles as a patron of the Barrie Wells Trust and an Ambassador of the LFC Foundation.
With preparations on track for KJT’s fourth Olympics in Paris 2024 well underway, KJT will be looking to add to her impressive collection of medals with Olympic gold next year.
